Out Reach Service

The group also offers an ‘out reach’ service.
A volunteer and a member of the group will visit and befriend the prospective applicant, forming
a link between the group and the new member. This is to give the new stroke survivor the support and confidence to come to the group.

There are many young members and there is no upper age limit. However, in order to gain the maximum benefit from the group the new member must be motivated to work towards regaining their independence and rebuilding their lives.
